April 23rd,2015
We arrived at our camp site in Falcon, Colorado at abut 6pm. We had come from Attwood, Ks.
We decided to camp in an RV park in falcon, as it would be much easier then trying to manuver our 38ft, camper and long bed pickup through heavy traffic in Colorado Springs.
We have a nice site with a beautiful view of Pikes Peak.
We spent the evening just getting the campsite set up, and resting.
The next morning it was beautiful out, we decided to get out for a drive. Our daughter Erin had a conference she had to work at , that her employer was putting on, so we were unable to spend time with her until Sunday.
We took off with the dogs for a drive on Gold Camp Road. It is an old Gold mining road that goes above Manitou Springs, Colorado.
It has hairpin turns, and is ungardered most of the way. I have to say it really increased my prayer life! LOL
We went through several rock tunnels that were one way only!
From there we went to Garden Of The Gods, and did a little walking with the dogs.
It is so beautiful no matter how many times I have seen it I never tire of its beauty.
The next day, April 25th, was a rainy , Cold day. We spent the day getting caught up on house keeping chores.
Randy was kind enough to do the laundry for me at a little laundromat here at the park, he also shampooed the carpets inside the camper.
We rested the rest of the day.
The preperation of cleaning and reorganizing the camper at my brothers house as well as the visiting, traveling and the time change had all caght up with us.
So a day of rest was in order.
The next day was Sunday, it contiinued to be raining, cold and miserable out side. We went to church with our daughter Erin.
She goes to a large church in Colorado Springs, called The Springs Church. It is pastured by David Wilkersons son Gary Wilkerson.
We then went out to eat, and visit with Erin more about the conference.
She works for an organization that helps churches connect with orphanages around the world that need support. Most of them are in Russia, and Africa. However there are some in Hati, and Guatamula.
She said it was a big success and about 24 countries were represeted. She designed an app for the conference that had google maps in it, the schulde of the daily conference, as well as bio`s of each of the speakers.
You could also connect with social media i.e. twitter ect. She said it was very helpful to many of the guests. I am so proud of that girl. ( incase you couldn`t tell).
Her birthday is May 3rd, she said she needed a new garbage disposal, so we had the handy man i.e. her daddy with us,so off to home depot, to purchase the unit, then back to her house for the instulation.
Tomorrow we leave and head for Wyoming on our way to see my brother Lee in Lander Wyoming.

Does your handyman service the east coast?

She had a mini seizure teo days ago. Scares me to death; what would I do w/o her? My wrist does not seem to be healing. Will keep you posted. See the PT tomorrow and the doctor next week from tomorrow. I put up the curtains in the dining room, hanging the same as the ones in the living room. Beautiful I was very proud of Marlin for putting the rod up for me. Love the pics you include. Stay safe and well. Your foreve friend, Nona
