Last night we woke up to violent winds. The camper was rocking and felt as though it lifted off the ground slightly.
There was no place to go. We stayed under as many blankets as possible, for protection.
Luckily we were parked west of a small wind break, and at an angle to protect us somewhat from the wind.
It was gone about as quickly as it came.
In the morning we awoke to this tree, that had been growing about 5 ft from the camper.
We were so blessed the wind was blowing from the north and blew it away from us.
Only a few casualties from the storm, like our outdoor carpet, i think it must be in the lake.
It was not a tornado, but very strong winds , on the leading edge of a thunder storm.
